Kore partnered with Celtic Dynamics to reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency across its facility. Through a structured approach combining technical delivery and grant support, the project delivered significant energy, cost, and carbon savings.
The Challenge
Kore required a clear strategy to reduce energy usage and emissions while maintaining operational performance. The business also needed support in securing funding to enable the implementation of key energy-saving upgrades.
The Solution
Celtic Dynamics carried out a detailed energy audit and developed a tailored decarbonisation plan, identifying high-impact opportunities for improvement. We also supported Kore through the EXEED application process, including Measurement & Verification (M&V), helping secure approximately 25% funding for the project.
Grant-supported upgrades included insulation pipework, heat recovery from process, installation of an Energy Management System (EMS), a new process line, an electric forklift, and a solar PV system.
The Results
The project delivered strong measurable outcomes:
- 1,133,476 kWh annual energy savings
- €63,809 annual cost savings
- 386 tCO₂e annual carbon reduction
Services Provided
Energy Audit, Decarbonisation Plan, EXEED Application & Measurement and Verification (M&V)
The Outcome
Kore now operates with improved energy efficiency and a reduced carbon footprint, supported by upgraded systems and processes. This project demonstrates how combining expert delivery with grant funding can achieve meaningful and measurable results.
“With their great understanding of how energy grants are structured, Celtic Dynamics helped us to implement many energy upgrades with a much lower cost than first anticipated. They are great at carrying out the due diligence and supporting the design of energy projects. Definitely would recommend to other sites like ours.” – Kore Management
